The First Live Integration of Avail Atomic Unlocks CLOB Execution for Quickswap Users

Quickswap, an established AMM that has processed close to $200B+ in lifetime volume, added trustless CLOB execution to its product suite with Avail Atomic & KalqiX, all without re-building anything.

The First Live Integration of Avail Atomic Unlocks CLOB Execution for Quickswap Users

The first Avail Atomic integration is now live, connecting Quickswap to KalqiX. This illustrates Avail Atomic’s ability to connect DEXs like Quickswap to CLOBs for better price execution with onchain settlement. Every trade routed via Avail Atomic settles in full or reverts atomically on-chain.

The recent launch of Avail Atomic responds to a growing shift in crypto trading. CLOBs are becoming more dominant as they can provide better price execution, especially on larger trades that are impacted by price movements on a traditional AMM curve. DEX users want to be able to access better execution via CLOBs without taking on counterparty risk. Avail Atomic provides that option. By efficiently routing orders between the two, it facilitates the onchain guarantees of a DEX with the execution efficiency of a CLOB.

TL;DR, Avail Atomic is the routing and settlement layer that sits between existing apps and CLOBs: an app submits a swap order, Avail Atomic routes it to a CLOB like KalqiX for better price execution, and an onchain smart contract guarantees the trade either settles in full or returns everyone's funds without adding counterparty risk for users.

The Gap in the Market

Most DEXs, aggregators, frontends, and wallets are competing on the same thing: efficient pricing. As CLOBs have matured and begun offering tighter spreads than AMMs can, order sources have been left with a difficult choice: match CLOB-grade pricing, or lose users to the venues that do. The catch is that integrating existing apps with CLOBs directly is complex and time-consuming, and maintaining those connections across multiple venues is an overhead few teams want to own.

Avail Atomic is built for exactly that gap. It gives order sources CLOB execution through a single integration, without them needing to re-build anything.

The Opportunity

Quickswap serves a large and active community of traders looking to swap assets quickly and efficiently. Historically, these trades would be routed to traditional DEX liquidity pools. But what happens when a CLOB can offer a better price?

Until now, taking advantage of those opportunities required building your own CLOB, a complete distraction for DEXs, not to mention a multi-year product detour. Quickswap took a different path: it integrated with Avail Atomic, and with a single integration it gained access to CLOB execution venues like KalqiX whenever they can provide superior pricing.

The result is simple: Traders receive access to better pricing without needing to change their behaviour or take on additional risk assumptions.

The Flow Behind the Integration

Here's the dynamic between Quickswap, Avail Atomic, and KalqiX, end to end.

Step by step:

  1. The user places an order. A trader on Quickswap wants to swap token A for token B.
  2. Quickswap submits the intent. Instead of routing only through its AMM, Quickswap calls the Avail Atomic API and passes along the swap intent. Avail Nexus handles any cross-chain unification, aggregating funds and fills.
  3. Avail Atomic locks the trade. The onchain smart contract secures the user's input assets so they can't be stranded.
  4. The solver executes on KalqiX. Avail's solver uses its own inventory on the CLOB to execute the swap with KalqiX's tighter price.
  5. The user’s order gets fulfilled. The solver uses its onchain inventory to deliver token B to the user.
  6. The solver is made whole. On confirmed settlement, the user's locked input assets are released from the smart contract to the solver, closing the loop.

The whole sequence either completes in totality or reverts and returns funds to both parties. That's the atomic guarantee, and it's the reason an off-chain order book can be used without sacrificing trustless, onchain settlement.

Who Benefits & How

  • Quickswap's users get tighter spreads from CLOB execution that translate directly into more tokens for the same trade any time KalqiX offers better pricing. On larger orders, where AMM slippage bites hardest, the difference is meaningful.
  • Quickswap now has a competitive edge without taking on settlement risk or integration overhead. With Avail Atomic, they enable CLOB execution through a single integration, no custody of user assets, no stranded transactions.
  • KalqiX gets order flow, gaining direct access to the real volume Quickswap's users generate.

First of Many

The Quickswap and KalqiX integration is the first live implementation of Avail Atomic, demonstrating how DEXs can access CLOB execution while preserving trustless, atomic onchain settlement.

But this is only the beginning.

Avail Atomic is on a mission to connect DEXs, wallets, aggregators, and trading applications to a growing network of CLOB & PropAMM execution venues through a single integration. Quickswap is the first order source. KalqiX is the first execution venue.

As the network expands, applications can gain access to more execution venues and better pricing opportunities, while execution venues gain access to additional order flow. Traders benefit from better execution and improved trading outcomes.
