Introducing Avail Atomic
Avail Atomic is a new product from the Avail team providing trading infrastructure that routes directly to CLOB & PropAMM execution venues. It’s built for DEX’s, wallets and other apps needing to give users the best swap prices.
The name comes from atomic swaps where transactions either complete in full or revert entirely. With Avail Atomic’s routing infrastructure, there's no stranded transactions and no centralized custody of assets, just an on-chain trade between two parties. The trade settles onchain in full, or the funds get returned meaning there’s no coutnerparty risk.
How It Works
Here’s what happens when a user places a swap order:
- Fetch quotes Avail Atomic returns competing quotes. The app selects the best price.
- Submits swap intent The app calls Avail Atomic’s API with swap details.
- Intent Execution Orders are routed to the selected venue for execution.
- Settle or unlock The trade atomically settles onchain, or returns the funds in full.
The infrastructure is powered by Avail, providing the coordination and execution layer that make these trades quick and efficient across multiple blockchains.

CLOBs & PropAMMs operate with off-chain order books for efficient price discovery, but settlement must happen on-chain for trustless execution. This creates a gap for integrators that Avail Atomic closes.
