The Avail Network is a modular application development stack designed to establish blockchains as the verification system for the internet. Avail does this by addressing fundamental challenges facing rollup scalability, interoperability and usability. Recently, the Avail community welcomed Lens, a leading decentralized social network and Sophon, a consumer-led blockchain, backed by the ZKsync ecosystem, to the Avail Network.
The AVAIL token plays a key role within the Avail Network to pay for network services and provide security. Base users can now access the AVAIL token on the Base blockchain and collect rewards via Aerodrome Finance.
AVAIL Liquidity Pool on Aerodrome Finance
Users on Base can access AVAIL through the AVAIL-USDC pool on Aerodrome Finance. AVAIL tokens on the Base blockchain are transferred via Wormhole.
Liquidity Providers (LPs) also stand to capture AERO emissions by adding liquidity to the AVAIL pool and staking the LP token.
Add AVAIL Liquidity To Earn AERO Rewards
Step 1: Get the AVAIL ERC-20 (on the Ethereum network).
- Transfer native AVAIL tokens from the Avail network to Ethereum using the Avail Bridge.
- Get AVAIL on exchanges like Gate or Bitget and withdraw on the Ethereum network.
- Get AVAIL from AVAIL-USDC, AVAIL-WETH pools on Uniswap or via DEX aggregators.
Step 2: Transfer to Base using Wormhole
- Select the AVAIL token on the Ethereum network in the FROM address. Note that this is for bridging Avail assets from the Ethereum network only.
- Select AVAIL in the TO address on the Base network.
- Add in the amount you wish to transfer and complete the transaction flow.
Step 3: Provide Liquidity on Aerodrome Finance
- Connect your wallet and make sure you are on the Base network.
- Head to liquidity and search for AVAIL
- Choose your preferred pool and click deposit.
- Select price range and number of tokens.
- Complete the transaction steps on the right-hand side to provide liquidity, stake the LP tokens, and earn AERO rewards.
Step 4 (Optional): If you have USDC on Base already
- Go to Swap on Aerodrome Finance
- Swap USDC for AVAIL
- Get AVAIL by completing the transaction.
- Provide liquidity (Step 3) and earn rewards.
